On that note, my interest in the master's degree in psychiatric nursing would be clinical practice. Having versatile knowledge in clinical psychiatric practice will allow me to provide better recommendations to optimize care and will make me more competent to better empower the clients under my care. It will also equip me with the skills, knowledge and attitude to make evidence-based decisions. Additionally, my knowledge on implementing standardized models with evidence-based practices will be enhanced. I will be better equipped to be part of a team that provides the initial client assessment, makes recommendations and follows up.
