    The Internet is a common system of networks used to connect billions of other networks around the world. It is because of this that we are able to communicate with others, create businesses, conduct research, share our knowledge, work from home and become who we are today thanks to technology of point. When you think about it, the Internet is essential to life and many of us would be lost if it disappeared. But despite its good use, there are certain drawbacks that make this great invention ultimately not so great. Such as lack of security and privacy, hackers, etc… The Internet was first launched in the United States in the 1960s, according to an article about the inventor of the Internet. “The US Department of Defense was the first webmaster in the world to create the Advanced Research Project Agency Network, used in universities and in US military computers. By 1981, almost 200 computers were in use on the network and in 1991 (ARPANET) or Advanced Research Projects Agency Network joined all the other networks and combined to form what we all call the Internet today. For some of us, the Internet is the world's greatest invention, but for others, it's not quite the invention they would think would classify as the world's greatest invention, because there are other things that better fit this criteria as the world's greatest invention, like the things that came before the internet to name a few (fire, electricity, airplanes and computers) to those people, the more basic it was, the better it was with the Internet, more corruption. It is just a great invention for its ability to make some things in life easier, like education, job search and opportunities, working from home, growth of telecommunications and economy and much more. ...... middle of paper ...... federation of data generated from these devices, and because the more data, the richer we are, the more exposed we as consumers are to these acts of piracy. Internet security and privacy starts with you, it will always be an issue that businesses, government and consumers question. Never think that you can't be a victim of internet fraud, privacy violation, lack of security. No matter how much you spend monthly or yearly on antivirus protection, it doesn't stop there and you need to follow the steps to ensure your security, be attentive and very careful when logging into any website, reading, entering your information personal anywhere just because he asked you too, create strong passwords and try to reset them every 30 days, encrypt your files, be smart. And always remember that the very moment you click that internet button, you become a target.
