When we think of Jesus, immediately as a Christian, we think of Easter and what it represents. There are few people today who have not at least heard of Jesus. In this essay I will discuss who Jesus of Nazareth was and what his message was to the people. I will go further and explain how this message was delivered and what role his miracles played in his ministry. Finally, I will discuss the final event that convinced his followers that he was more than just an ordinary man. The life of Jesus was recorded from his birth to his death in the New Testament of the Bible. Most of his life is recorded in the gospels written by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. There is a lack of writing about his early years, leaving much speculation for non-believers. There are many parables and miracles that we have witnessed over the years.
