Essay / Essay on the Effects of Grade Inflation - 1002
The recording system put pressure on instructors and students so that any attempts at grade inflation could be revealed later; it reminds them of the consequences later. Student requests to have their grades revised must also be recorded, giving a fair chance to those who want their grades revised for valid reasons. Likewise, it allows their voices to be heard later when school administrators review the cases. With this system, schools can focus more on the grading system, to see how it can be improved to reflect the true potential of students. At the same time, state education officials can review these cases to ensure that fair grades between schools are now maintained. Changes made by instructors or students would require them to think hard about the real reasons for grade revisions before submitting one. Ultimately, this results in a fair grading system for all instructors and students to get an evaluation and the grades they deserve. There will be a clear distinction between students who pass and those who fail. Teachers will do what it takes to raise student grades and preserve the core value of American education, and America will have a bright future with happiness for all.
