    In Western Europe are some of the countries where articles five and thirteen of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights have been violated (see Annex A): France, Spain and the United Kingdom. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights includes thirty articles or rights believed to belong to every member of society. It has also been developed in subsequent international treaties and national constitutions (“Universal Declaration of Human Rights”). One of the countries located off the western coast of continental Europe is France. Land-wise, France is the largest country in Western Europe with a total population close to sixty-seven million inhabitants (Central Intelligence Agency). French leaders remain committed to remaining a capitalist country through laws and regulations, tax policies and social spending that reduce income inequality to maintain equality for all members of society. With a minimum of seventy-five million tourists per year, it is the most visited country in the world, and it receives the third largest tourism revenue in the world. The country has also long been part of one of the most developed and wealthiest economies in the world. France and its neighboring countries, such as Spain and the United Kingdom, are either destination countries or countries where people are used as resources and exported for the purposes of human trafficking, which violates the article 13 (“Trafficking in human beings and modern slavery – France”). Spain, officially considered the Kingdom of Spain, is a sovereign state under the control of Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and King Juan Carlos. The nation borders southwest Europe, the Mediterranean Sea and southwest France and its population is currently near the middle of paper...... ice public abuse and other torture or ill-treatment as a society and police officers will be more aware of what they are doing to the public around them and can make them think twice before committing a crime. Another resolution regarding torture and ill-treatment in these three regions includes that the violence of the two participants should be illegal. Given that police violence is a major problem in all three countries, one way to fairly resolve issues between the victim and the police officer is to make physical violence on the part of both parties illegal. To ensure that everyone follows this law and that no one falsifies the story of who raised their hand on the other first, camera systems should be installed to record the truth. In conclusion, human rights and laws should be applied and involved all over the world to create peace and justice between nations and, on a smaller scale, between individuals..
