    I honestly believe this is what we need to do! Help students understand why it's important to go to school! Make it fun, interesting and about them! That being said, the speaker talked about students around the world who are looking for a more meaningful classroom experience that is more connected to the world we live in. Unfortunately, this is true. Students want to receive more than just information. High-achieving students and reluctant learners alike crave educational goals and how they relate to their real-world experiences. This is an area that needs to be further developed within school systems and not so much pushed aside or in the background. This needs to be addressed quickly and brought to the forefront. Students want to know how school relates to the world outside the classroom and what they need to learn and apply in their lives, so they can use the information they learn in school in the real world.
