Lifted Imagery is a drone-based aerial media provider targeting the needs of the real estate market. Starting the business will require capital to purchase the drone itself and other accessories such as batteries and other equipment. There will also be expenses for a camera and then for future upgrades as technology rapidly evolves. There will also be other commercial operating expenses, but the initial capital required is for the development of the drone itself. There are different methods that Lifted Imagery can use to raise the funds needed to launch Lifted Imagery. Lifted Imagery has already reached an agreement with Golden-based brokerage The Golden Group. The agreement that was reached was similar to share capital. The Golden Group loaned Lifted Imagery $10,000 to pay for the majority of the initial investment required to purchase the drone. The loan is repaid monthly over 3 years with zero percent interest. In exchange for the capital, the Golden Group is entitled to 15% of the company's profits paid quarterly for 6 years. They also receive a 40% discount on all air services provided by Lifted Imagery. The agreement came into effect in July 2013. This agreement covered the initial costs of the drone, but does not allow for any sort of expansion. Lifted Imagery will have to make other arrangements to develop its business and modernize its drone. Since Lifted Imagery already has an equity agreement, it is not desirable to forgo additional equity. This excludes the potential of other investors, venture capital firms or an IPO.
