Members of the Algo ethnic group look forward to working with representatives of the three other ethnic groups living respectively on the territory of the Republic of Jarth: Randies, Takas and Dorfas, in order to create a new constitution for the renewed Democratic Republic of Jarth. As a representative of the Algo ethnic group, I want to say that our people want the new state to introduce a parliamentary system of government. Parliamentarism is a system of government in which the head of government is elected and accountable to a parliament or legislature. We might rightly ask: what is our reason for wanting this? We believe this is justified because in presidential systems the population as a whole votes for a chief executive, who is the president, in national elections. This is especially true since the Algo constitutes the minority of the population of the Republic of Jarth, which has only 1.1 million representatives in the entire state, compared to that of 2.9 million of Randies, 3.8 million Dorfas and 2.2 million Takas living in the Republic of Jarth. It is reasonable to assume that the result will most likely be that the accumulation of majority votes will hamper the representation (in numbers) of the members of the ruling minority. Subsequently, the Algo will once again have to live under the control of a leader of another ethnic group, which the members of the Algo tremble at the idea because we are proud of their ethnicity and do not wish be ashamed of it. On the other hand, in parliamentarism, the first step is the election of deputies, who are the political parties. This is imperative because it will allow the Algo to be able to choose the party with which we actually share interests....... middle of paper ...... I have already mentioned above, the Algos constitute the smallest part of the population of the Republic of Jarth, so there is a good chance that even in Parliament, their numbers are less represented in comparison with other ethnic groups. We are also aware that whichever party Algo members are most likely to support will not be able to convince others to introduce the law in the form we want. For this reason, it would be better for the Algos if the law could be revised by the judges (perhaps even become subject to change) and not be introduced without doubt, as always happens under parliamentary sovereignty. The Algo ethnic group hopes that all representatives of the Republic of Jarth will find a way to create a new constitution that can more or less satisfy all ethnic groups in our respected country..
