    Background of the studyI chose this topic because I am a gamer myself. I really like playing video games. Whenever I play video games, my parents always discuss what bad things I can get out of them. They always say that I should stop playing, that I can't get anything good out of playing these games. Playing video games is not bad at all. Maybe that’s actually good. I chose this topic so I could do more in-depth research and delve deeper into the real-life effects of video gaming. I would like to show others the other side of video game effects. Significance of the study Many people play video games. In a restaurant, children play with their tablets while waiting to eat. People in the Internet cafe play different types of video games with their friends. Players can be seen everywhere. Playing video games is usually linked to bad things, but is it really that bad? This study is important because thanks to it, people will know the real effects of video games. They will know what benefits they can get from playing video games and how they can get them. They will also know how to avoid the negative consequences of video games. Those who are not gamers can also benefit from this study. These include parents who are often skeptical about the benefits of playing video games. They will also discover what video games can bring to their children, how to get the positive aspects from them and how to avoid the negative aspects.
