Essay / Authority in Leadership - 930
Generally, the concept of leadership in a society is considered to be a man who is above others and also more powerful than them. Society also thinks that he must be very callous and show his power to prove that he can be a great leader. However, have you ever wondered what the great leader is and why the concept of power and leadership is generally considered to be above others by showing your power agent of strong rhetoric based on authority and violence? This is an idealized type of leadership for the general public and they believe that leaders must speak decisively and that this accuracy must be linked to authority and the desire to control people. I claim that the opposite situation is true. I think the most important trait of a leader should not be having authority, because authority is so harmful that it can abolish virtues and morality in societies. There are many opinions opposing my statement, but only several of them are strong. The first statement is that you cannot think about helping others on a regular basis if there is no authoritarian leader because human nature is self-centered, so whenever a leader's authority weakens, it is possible for a country and a nation to end because an authoritarian leader is needed to regulate everything in a country and keep people out of poverty. This is not correct because it is wrong to think that people should be regulated by a leader, even by government laws. The philosopher Karl Marx says that it is unscientific to create a concept of specific human nature (sixth thesis on Feuerbach, 1888). I agree with him. It is inaccurate to say that society must be regulated because human nature is selfish. On the other hand, the concept of ...... middle of paper ...... realize that there is no leader who strictly governs birds, swans or trees. They are all happy in their own nature. We should think about societies this way. It's good when there are many ideas and differences between people instead of one strict idea. There should not be a man who strictly orders people and runs society and thinks that power, rightness and authority are combined things. .Authority is not linked to power and rightness. It is the absence of power because it is the absence of real life energy based on happiness and love. autocratic1pdfDwyer,Maruyama,Fontaine(November 30, 2011)Philosophy of education for the 21st century: The projects of Heidegger and Wittengstein.
