The process of following a case according to court rules is known as litigation. In today's American workplace, there are many conflicts that cannot be ignored. It is evident that compassion and common sense in the workplace have been replaced. Employees, business managers and anyone else in the workplace must comply with all laws and regulations intended to protect the organization. It is illegal and immoral to deny someone an opportunity based on their race, sexual orientation and color. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission must act within its mandate. The human resources department should facilitate this by setting up a structured network in which these laws will be enforced in the workplace to ensure safety and a secure working environment. Legal and security requirements in healthcare are important to the human resources department. It is the duty of the human resources department to ensure that these laws are respected. Along the same lines, healthcare managers must understand these laws and implement them. The human resources department must also understand and comply with laws and regulations to reduce the organization's likelihood of potential liability. County Laws. The United States Department of Labor is responsible for developing, implementing, and regulating laws affecting both the employer and employee. These laws provide guidance and terms under which employees should receive standard wages, safety and health, workers' compensation, and working conditions. They contain key provisions which cover both the employer and the employee and provide sanctions for non-compliance with these provisions. The central government has passed laws that govern the relationship between employer and employee. In conclusion, today we see managers who take their power to another level, which leads employees to file complaints. Many discrimination lawsuits are filed due to employer negligence. People are not being treated fairly and that is why laws need to be put in place to protect the working class. Just because a manager is put in a position to manage doesn’t mean they know their job and know how to treat people fairly. We are all humans who work for a living, but when someone feels mistreated, they have no choice but to defend themselves.
