  • Essay / Sandy Hook Shooting Theories - 1294

Sandy Hook Shooting Conspiracies On December 14, 2012, Adam Lanza allegedly drove to Sandy Hook Elementary School, his former elementary school, and shot twenty-six students and teachers, then allegedly returned the weapon. against himself before being apprehended by the police. The Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a tragic event and it is hard not to sympathize with the families of those killed. There is, however, a movement that claims the shooting was fake (Spaeth). The shooting is believed to have been staged to pave the way for stricter gun control (Salazar). Conspiracy theorists, calling themselves Truthers, have repeatedly provided evidence to support their claims in an attempt to convince the general population. The Truthers begin by pointing out the FBI's crime. They are demanding that the government explain what really happened and that justice be done fairly. They did not have an open playing field, but they were met with opposition to every move they made with explanations, counter-arguments and information from the government, the police forces, the prime stakeholders and residents of Newtown. They argue that the Sandy Hook shooting fell under the jurisdiction of state police, a separate entity that is not necessarily required to report all crime statistics, and not federal police. Therefore, the FBI crime report would not include the shooting because they had no direct involvement (Mikkelson). This, they claim, has been carefully neglected by the Truthers. With support for Truthers coming primarily from the conspiracy theory haven, InfoWars.com, it is not difficult to imagine the simple reality of Truthers simply trying to make noise, or even just continue to disprove the government (Bennent ). Opposition forces also pointed out that the photos of Emilie with the president were her younger sister Madeline. You can see the resemblance in Figure A. They explain that the dress is the same from Figure A to Figure B by explaining that in many families when the older brother outgrows his clothes he gives them to his younger siblings, in a way called second-hand items. What is the case with Madeline and Emilie? As Connecticut State Police spokesman Lt. Paul Vance said, “Were there any other people arrested? The answer is yes. At the height of the battle, until you have determined the who, what, when, where and why of all those that exist... this is not unusual. » (Mikkelson). Chris Manfredonia was released when police discovered he was running through the woods because he heard "popping noises" coming from the school. Fearing that something had happened to his six-year-old daughter, he immediately rushed to the school (Mikkelson). The unidentified man who came out of the forest, handcuffed, carrying camouflage and carrying a rifle, turned out to be a "police officer from another city's tactical squad" (Mikkelson). Christopher Rodia's name can be heard on the police radio, but he was busy during the shooting, and officers can account for that. He was busy getting pulled over by the police nowhere near the school, there are only a limited number of ways to communicate remotely via radio and officers often talk to each other accidentally. It's just something police officers have to deal with
