Three social perspectives and the role of televisionThe social phenomenon is analyzed from different perspectives and at different levels. Today, three major perspectives offer theoretical paradigms commonly used by sociologists. These theoretical approaches help explain the relationships between people and society. They include: functionalist, interactionist and conflict perspectives. Each of these perspectives conceptualizes society, human behavior, and social forces.
