Based on the shifts in focus between those explored in traditional leadership theories and those promoted in new genre theories, as well as the relevant leadership skills highlighted by Bennis (2015), dynamic and new leadership models contributing to the field of leadership include authentic leadership, transformational leadership, and leader-member exchange theory. Transformational leadership theory and leader-member exchange theory were explored in this article. This article will therefore now examine the relevance of authentic leadership. Compared to traditional leadership models that rely on the importance of a single individual, authentic leadership, as well as theories of transformation and leader-member exchange, embrace the concept of a more holistic nature, including multiple participants such as the leader, followers, peers. , and supervisors (Avolio et al., 2009). Thus, authentic leadership theory corresponds to both the category of a new genre model and a significant theory in the field of leadership.
