    Schools are institutions that lay the foundation for a child's development. They play a key role in transforming children into responsible citizens and maximizing individual potential. A school is where young talents are recognized and encouraged. Each country has its own characteristics regarding the school curriculum, the teaching profession and the education system as a whole. However, in the global race for education, the United States lags far behind; countries that once lagged behind now meet or exceed U.S. educational standards. The failure of our education system is characterized by low test scores, minimal parental involvement, and high dropout rates. First, the number of students passing public reading and math exams declines significantly each year.
