    It seems like a strange idea when we talk about time management, but it is a necessary activity to continue to be fresh and creative. If you take a 5-10 minute break every hour, you are essentially recharging your battery and your creative thoughts. By taking these breaks, you will be more productive when you return to the tasks you need to complete. However, when you take these breaks, they should be complete. This means you shouldn't check email, call coworkers, or text about work-related topics. A good thing to do during these breaks is to take a short walk away from the office, do yoga or relaxation breathing techniques. A big part of successful time management is planning ahead. Planning your week is important. Plan your activities with their priority, the time required to do the activity, and the day(s) you plan to do the activity. Once planning is complete, the next step is planning your week. Make sure to include all of your high priority activities so that they are defined in the calendar.
