In fact, it is one of the hardest things that two people will have to go through together. Trying to rebuild trust is like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. It's possible, but it takes time, effort and attention. Many people assume that because someone trusted them before, it won't be difficult or take very long to rebuild that trust. The opposite is true. Building trust takes time and you can't rebuild 8 months of trust in less than a month. It takes just as long, if not longer, to rebuild broken trust. Rebuilding trust is not a destination. This is not a place you can find a shortcut to, because rebuilding trust is the way to go. And nothing can replace that
