    Hyde becomes more evil and slimy. He kills a man named Sir Darvens Carew. The way he murders him is so brutal that he uses a cane to beat him to death. This is the start of Mr. Hyde's attempt to take over. He wants complete control of the body. Dr. Jekyll realizes this and tries not to take the potion to transform into this monstrous creature. He also had to hide this side since Mr. Hyde was wanted for murder. While Dr. Jekyll stays away from Mr. Hyde, one night he went to sleep as Jekyll and woke up as Hyde, reluctantly knowing what had happened. He hadn't taken a single piece of potion. This showed how Hyde had started to take over. He had so much power over the body that he didn't need the potion to turn him to the evil side. In one of the reviews it says: “Stevenson's gothic crime story reaches its climax when the overconfident Jekyll realizes that he has no control over Hyde. » Once Dr. Jekyll realized that Hyde was too strong, he experienced the extreme measures he had to take, which included killing Hyde. The only way this could happen was if neither side could stay alive anymore, they would have to commit suicide. It is sad that because of this addiction, to free himself from his always correct habits, which people imposed on him, his life had to take a turn
