Wednesday evening arrived faster than expected. When I came home from work, Morgan was waiting for me. She told me that Paul and Sheldon were both at work and couldn't make it. Eric would be home from work soon. Morgan was very happy to announce that she was going. I was feeling pretty lackadaisical about the whole thing! I was not happy to return to this congregation. My heart told me not to waste my time playing with this bag of nuts; there was no hope for them (given that I returned to that congregation, know that I must have been as crazy as the Hebrew Israelites). Then I thought about the goodness of the brothers in this congregation, Gabriel took the time to call me and let me know that they cared and that everything would be better. With hindsight being 20/20, I should have taken Sheldon's advice, followed my heart and left these people alone, but for reasons I didn't understand at the time, I continued to return to their congregation, as if my presence there would make a difference. in whatever these people choose to do. Who did I think I was? Did I really think I could change anyone? In my own arrogant and selfish way of thinking, I thought my presence would make a difference. I didn't want to give up either. I'm a Taurus and I stubbornly held on to my point of view, no matter what anyone else thought about it and no matter what anyone else said about it. I was going back to these people and I was going to force them to accept me as I am, whether they liked it or not. The funny thing for me is that they never kicked me out of the group. Every time I left, Gabriel always asked me to come back and as crazy as it sounds, I went back. The relationship...... middle of paper ...... hat, the Wednesday evening meeting is over. After the meeting was over, I went up to the young man and asked him for his name and phone number. He told me his English name was Quincy Caper, but his Hebrew name was Moshe. I got his phone number and let him know that I would bring his daughter diapers every week that I would get paid for, as long as it was financially possible for me to do so. He thanked me. He was a very gentle and gentle-hearted young man. I was happy to have been able to help. It was a very good meeting. Gabriel had done his job as leader of the congregation and he kept control of the meeting, he kept it moving and the meeting ended at a decent time. I was gathering Morgan's things and Eric had already gotten the car keys and was about to go out to park the car by the door so Morgan wouldn't have to walk very far.
