George, the authors discuss how abortion is morally wrong. According to the authors, “human embryos and fetuses are complete (albeit immature) human beings.” Then they address the counterarguments that human embryos are not the same as a person because they are not conscious in the same way that a person is. The authors respond that human embryos have "natural abilities" although less developed for reasoning, so according to the authors it makes no sense to say when an embryo becomes a person.
