The Internet is the largest collection of accessible information ever made; It is therefore not surprising that the Internet occupies an important place in daily life. Internet use is so common that it has made its way into some of the most important aspects of society, the workplace, the education system, and leisure in general. The Internet has proven to be as beneficial as any other tool, but the Internet is constantly adapting. The Internet is constantly evolving and powers every aspect of digital society. The Internet has had a huge impact on business methods and is constantly changing the workplace. The Internet was introduced to the business world on January 1, 1983, and since then, almost 1.5 billion people have connected to the Internet to conduct a business transaction. This means that twenty-five percent of the world's population has used the Internet and made a business transaction. (Jakob Nielson, useit.com) The Internet has made the transfer of information instantaneous. the cause of these business transactions was due to the ability to transfer information instantly. The effects of this ability to transfer information are substantial for businesses, as they open up a vast customer base. With billions of potential customers, businesses benefit from the greatest effects of the Internet. The real cause of the adaptation of the Internet into daily life begins with education and the integration of the Internet into daily life. Over the past twenty years, the Internet has slowly permeated the education of students at all levels. The ability to watch movies instantly has been almost monopolized by a company called Netflix. This website can show a selected movie on the computer and send the signal into space and back into a device that allows the individual to watch it on television; all this happens in less than five seconds. With the Internet came another popular site where the individual can purchase music, movies and games; it is known as iTunes. Individuals can do anything on the Internet, with no exception in the entertainment industry. The Internet is a common tool that has progressed exponentially and is still present in daily life. This happens in business, in education, and even in leisure time. This has helped advance humanity as a whole.
