Animal testing can be really cruel, that's why I'm against it. Every year, more than 100 million animals die due to testing. Approximately 90% of laboratories used for animal testing are not counted in official U.S. statistics. People say you shouldn't mistreat animals because it's against the law. But why shouldn't animal testing be banned by law? They give medicine or makeup to animals to try to improve our situation, but all they do is hurt the animals, making them cry and moan about what's on them or in them. The people testing them don't even give them painkillers. I understand why to see if there is any effect on them. But why choose the poor defenseless animals? After the people whose animal tests have been carried out, they burn or kill them. And it's such a bad thing to do. Why would anyone choose to have a job where animals are harmed? Currently, millions of mice, rats, rabbits, primates, cats, dogs and other animals are locked in cold, sterile cages in laboratories across the country.
