  • Essay / Reflection of the poems in “These winter and engendered Sundays”

    “These Winter Sundays” had a sad and sad tone compared to “Begotten” which has a more pleasant and optimistic tone. One of the reasons I chose to look at the poems in the family album was the diversity of each poem. Just like in real life, everyone has a different life story because of their family. Family life is an important part of life and I liked how the speaker of the poem was able to look back on his childhood after growing up. These two poems spoke of the child-father relationship, but also of the family as a whole. It's easy to think of your parents as granite, but when you grow up, you begin to realize how grateful you are for everything they did for you.
