Could you imagine walking into your local hospital without the staff wearing uniforms? Would you be able to tell the difference between doctors and patients? This would cause a breakdown in the hospital structure and ultimately put lives at risk. Likewise, wearing a uniform creates a sense of pride. For example, I wore a uniform at my school and, therefore, felt like I belonged to a community. It made me look responsible and trustworthy because I was dressed in formal attire.
