Essay / Analysis of the novel Les Beaux Os by Alice Sebold are produced after my departure. . And I began to see things in a way that allowed me to deal with the world without me. The events brought about by my death were just the bones of a body that would become whole at some unpredictable point in the future. The price of what I considered this miraculous body had been my life. In the novel The Lovely Bones written by Alice Sebold, he takes you on an expedition that relives the heartbreaking moments of a life and the formation of new bonds between those who have been touched by tragedy. Susie Salmon, the protagonist, is 14 years old. old when she is lured by her neighbor while returning from school to a field where she is raped, murdered and then dismembered. In a heavenly place, Susie watches over those who matter on Earth: her family, her friends and her killer. Susie is unable to let go of the life she had and instead spies and lives through those left on earth. She's busy trying to find a way to make her murderer pay for his crimes. Will the family one day manage to turn the page? Will the police ever catch the murderer and recover more than just his elbow? The length of the novel, the fully developed characters, and the lessons contained in the story make this a wonderful book. Alice Sebold is a gifted writer and from the first three pages of the novel, readers are hooked. They are terrified and engaged in the narrative and the suffering of the main character. The plot is beautifully written and tells a horrific story. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is mature enough to read it and likes the feeling of suspense...... middle of paper ......hor writes how George Harvey dismembers his body leaving the police find him. Susie elbow. You know everything was stolen from him. Her innocence, parts of her body and especially her life. This makes you so angry. I wonder if Sebold felt bad for Susie and wanted her to have this moment to herself when she writes about how Ray and Susie sleep together. As much as you want to give Susie her moment with one of the characters, I think it would have made the novel much deeper and touching if she never had it, because in my opinion it would have made the book more touching and more powerful. As you read the novel, you will see the powerful messages it contains and relive the tortuous moments of Susie's life. The bonds that form between the characters through the death of the narrator throughout the novel make the book out of this world and mind-boggling..
