    After the incident, my parents did not try to have another child, which left me to be the “only child”. They were then very proud of me, paying me more attention and showering me with the most beautiful gifts. I hate to say it but I really took advantage of it by getting all the latest gadgets and the nicest clothes. In middle school, I was like any other kid, always trying to understand myself. I was very short and fat during my college years. Sometimes I look back and think about what happened in my life and what I was thinking. However, during my high school years, everything changed as I began to lose weight and grow taller. I am currently 6'3 and weigh around 180 pounds. Looking back on my appearance in middle school, I never thought I would have such a positive transformation. I can't deny that my parents' shower didn't contribute to this drastic transformation. I now dress and carry myself much better than before. I love dressing up, and by that I mean dressing like I have a purpose, even if it's a quick trip to the store for a candy bar. Hats are my favorite things
