    Isn't it strange how women have existed for millions of years, but only recently gained the same rights as men? This is a question that many feminists ask themselves. Our lives, careers, education and more have suffered from the stereotype that women are not as intelligent, strong or ethical as men. It's a lie. Every day, women continue to show how capable they are of doing anything men can do. You may think that feminism is only about women who think they are superior to men, but in reality, it is about women working to balance rights between both sexes. There are, however, bigger problems in the world of feminism than stereotypes. Domestic violence, body image and body shame, as well as rape culture and sexual assault, to name a few, are some of the major issues women face on a daily basis. Worldwide, approximately 1 in 4 women will be victims of domestic violence. The people who attack them are generally their spouses.
