    Verizon Wireless could lose at least one competitive advantage due to a lack of knowledge about how wireless industry employee benefits compare. Studies have shown that valuable employees and top talent candidates are strongly influenced by what employee benefits are considered good (Paterson, 2013). The leadership team's determination and call for organizational growth results in both retaining current employees and encouraging new candidates to join us, an area where a premier benefits program Order is a major contributor. Given these considerations and the problem of lack of up-to-date information, it was determined that a comparison of current employee benefits was absolutely necessary. The investigative steps necessary for this analysis for this Capstone project were found in Section III, and this next chapter, Section IV, submits these results. Benchmarking Process The fundamental goal of this capstone project was to detail how Verizon Wireless's benefit set compares in the industry. , through a comparative analysis process and the implementation of a specific design strategy including the exploratory approach and the mixed method strategy. Using these methods, data was collected directly from the public websites of the six organizations, as well as from additional scientific sources where necessary. Due to the complexity and quantity of data, rational choice theory was used to develop a calculative and ethical technique. The nature of the theory also made it possible to concretely determine options, as well as appropriate interpretation and subsequent recommendations.
