    National magazines should have established barriers to ensure they comply with the Canadian Content Regulations with a high percentage of advertising from Canadian companies. To promote the improvement of Canadian publications, I would encourage publishers to share Canadian content to improve cultural understanding and to provide grants to any publisher capable of providing appropriate cultural content to Canadians. It would be beneficial if split-run magazines were encouraged to collaborate with Canadian publishers to print and produce any necessary revisions of foreign publication content to ensure that there is no harm against Canadian culture and give Canadian businesses the opportunity to advertise in the publication. Overall, I would like to see the national members come together and collaborate in deliberations on different strategies to establish a greater share of the Canadian magazine market and protect their culture, as well as discuss and determine (through a collective reflection) how to correctly distinguish between a split-run magazine and a domestic one
