    Abortion is defined as the termination of pregnancy by the removal or expulsion of the uterus of a fetus or embryo before it is capable of growth Normally. Abortion has been one of the greatest controversies of all time. There are those who believe it is immoral and consider it murder. These supporters of life do not know that if abortion were illegal, they would continue to be practiced, unfortunately by poorly educated personnel. Unsafe abortions are responsible for the deaths of 78,000 women each year. Forcing a woman to undergo an abortion in poor conditions violates her right to life. Every woman should have the opportunity to determine whether she wants to keep her child or abort it. In today's society, there are a growing number of teenagers with children who are still unable to raise a child themselves because they are still trying to find their own way of life. In most cases, the child ends up living a life that is not beneficial to him or her. Abortion eliminates the risk of all these tragedies happening. The problem shouldn't be killing an egg that hasn't fully evolved into a baby, the problem should be having children and then neglecting or abusing them to the point that they can't be a child happy. The debate over abortion is as heated today as it was in 1973 when the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade established women's right to abortion. Roe was a single, pregnant woman who challenged the constitutionality of Texas' abortion laws. These laws make it a crime to obtain or attempt an abortion without medical advice to save the life of the mother. The court ruled that a woman's right to an abortion fell within the right to privacy protected by the 14th Amendment.
