I think the patient misunderstood the nurse's intentions when he was transferred from the intensive care unit to other areas of the hospital because there was little communication to let him know this. that was going to happen. It appears that the patient was unfamiliar with the hospital, the procedures and the people and, as a result, felt that all the procedures were harming him. Even before the operation, the surgeon visited the patient very quickly and told him that it was a routine operation. Although it may be routine, I think it would be good to inform the patient about what will happen in each of the processes. Additionally, when the patient was going to have exams, he had to ask himself which exam and why he was undergoing this procedure. Additionally, I think he was not oriented according to time or place, and it does not appear that he was redirected based on his responses.2. As a nurse leader, I think it would have been helpful to train my nursing team to effectively care for the patient. Communication is the key to interaction between individuals. I think that if the nurses in the intensive care units, the operating room and the intensive care units had ensured good communication with each other and with the patient, the patient would have understood the situation better. This was the first triple bypass surgery performed by the patient and is a major event in the patient's life. After surgery, they are often placed in intensive care to recover so their hearts and lungs can oxygenate and pump effectively. I think it was essential to communicate everything with the patient before and after the operation. The type of leadership management I would use would be a transformational leadership style.
