Essay / How to be the best quarterback ever played in the NFL
Have you ever wanted to be a spectacular quarterback? Have you ever wanted to lead your team to a Super Bowl and hold the prestigious Lombardi Trophy? Well, this is going to be one of the hardest things possible. There are a number of things that would be helpful in at least getting drafted to a team, but being a good quarterback takes more than anyone really knows. You might think football is just about running and throwing a ball, but that doesn't even describe the finesse and challenge of the NFL. First of all, you have to be inspired by someone. Without being inspired, there is no reason to take up football. “When you talk about role models, when we talk to our kids, everyone is a role model, everyone, just like you look at Michael Jordan as the tremendous athlete that he is.” (Walter Payton, Hall of Fame running back.) Payton was right when he said that. Anyone can inspire you, so you have to get inspired by someone, which is the easy part, and start playing football. Then you have to be young. Your youth is a great starting point, and there's no way you're going to get into the NFL unless you get drafted. How do you get drafted? You have to be outstanding in high school football first, then go to college football, then be acceptable enough to get drafted. But you will be a backup of the backup. This is an incredibly difficult place to start, if you want to at least be reliable. You really have to prove yourself in training. In addition, young people offer many opportunities to learn from professionals. “My rookie year was huge for me as far as the learning curve, especially these last three games.” (Tim Tebow, NFL quarterback). Tebow may be a horrible quarterback, but he learned from Denver's Peyton Manning, and that would be valuable... middle of paper ... the best. But they couldn't be more wrong. There are other elements that fall within the scope of a legal sentence. When most people just say football is 30 guys running on a field, throwing a ball and tackling the guy with the ball. But if you really think about it and try a real league, things get a lot harder. So I wish you young readers good luck and remember to “just play.” Have fun. Enjoy the game.” (Michael Jordan, Hall of Fame basketball player) Works Cited “Top 10 Quarterback Tips.” Top 10 Quarterback Tips. Np, and Web. May 6, 2014. Harrison, Elliot.
