He scored 22 points out of a possible total of 39 points in this section. Low intermediate scores mean that AK speaks, understands spoken English, reads, and writes in English at or below grade level, and he may need some support writing in English. AK's current level of classwork and reading reflects these results, but it needs to be retested.
