Music is an important part of our lives, and it's everywhere we turn these days. Music has evolved and grown since the 1960s to the present day and we are yet to experience the full potential and growth of music in the years to come thanks to talented music artists in all genres musical. One quality that many people can share is their love for music, regardless of the type of music the individual prefers. Music is powerful in itself because it helps communicate with other social groups, can influence our mood, and represents our culture or other important aspect of our lives. Without the countless efforts of all talented musical artists, we would not have such incredible music contributed to our history and the world of humanities. Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also known as Eminem, is considered a famous American record producer, rapper, actor and songwriter ("Marshall Bruce Mathers III"). Eminem struggled throughout his childhood changing numerous schools and homes. He eventually dropped out of school after failing ninth grade three times to focus on what he loved doing best, writing music and rapping. Although he was never very good at school, "Eminem found a way to express his passion for language, as well as release his youthful anger through the emerging musical genre of hip hop" ( “Marshall Bruce Mathers III”). In the late 1980s and early 1990s, most rap was produced and sung by black people. A lot of people didn't take him seriously because he was a white man trying to rap during competitions, battles in Detroit with black people. Getting his name out there and winning battles was what he had a passion for at the same time, fighting for...... middle of paper ...... With their own music and style, we have a greater variety and options to choose our music from. These two musical artists are extraordinary, because they share one thing in common, which is also their best quality. Early in their lives, both musical artists had their own stories to tell about their complications and struggles. These artists have done a wonderful job managing and finding their way to success and bringing their talent to the humanities world for song lovers to enjoy and appreciate every day. Music is something important in our lives; it gives color to an ordinary black and white image. With music we can express our feelings, share our thoughts and imagine what cannot be.
