    The Role of Election Commission in Indian Democracy OBJECTIVE: The project report will aim to provide readers with an overview of the body called Election Commission of India. The report will attempt to formulate a collection of information regarding the creation of the body and its usefulness in the political sphere of the country. The report will also provide technical details on this subject. Like its composition, its presidency and its method of operation. In this aspect, the report would take over the powers of this body. The status of this body will also be covered in the report. Monitoring of work carried out in the past and present will be discussed. The brief inclusion of the work would take us to a higher level of understanding about the Electoral Commission and also to what extent it was successful in providing to the nation what it was supposed to provide. With this introduction, the report would serve as a model for the Electoral Commission, incorporating the majority of the complex elements that contribute to its functioning.
