Task 3-Working with INCOI Area will discuss a case study that involves managing the behavior of a young child. It is formulated to provide insight into the impact of this behavior on the child and other children, as well as reviewing how I have managed effective partnerships with other professionals, such as the Regional Inclusion Officer , my Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO). , the child's parents and of course the child.Case StudyBertie, a 3-year-old boy, has a twin sister and a slightly older brother who attends the local primary school. Bertie has extremely bad behavior and will not listen to staff members. He has difficulty playing with other children and bites, hits and yells at them. Bertie's behavior is becoming more and more aggressive and it is now getting to the point where other parents are starting to complain that he is bothering their children. A parent made an informal complaint that their son was too scared to go to preschool because of Bertie's behavior. Staff monitored Bertie's behavior and we then had a meeting with Bertie's parents, including his key person, to discuss Bertie's behavior. Bertie's parents are just as worried. During the meeting, his parents discuss how they also got help from their doctor. The Doctor examined Bertie and made the following conclusions, that Bertie's behavior could be linked to his traumatic delivery, as being the second twin to be born, he was deprived of oxygen for a few minutes. However, he also said that Bertie might have fluid in his ears, possibly causing him to be unable to hear, and that he would then refer Bertie to a pediatrician for further investigation.
