Essay / Books vs. Movies - 783
Have you ever read an amazing book only to find yourself stuck with a terrible movie based on it? Watching a movie based on a book is amazing, especially if you haven't read the book. Reading the book the movie is based on is much better than the movie itself, imagining the words in action from a book gives a lot more thrill than in the movie. The film itself is quite disappointing. The book Divergent for example, spoiler alert, the book was absolutely amazing in every way for those who like the kind of book that gives you thrills and has a disgusting and amazing plot, all set in a post setting. -apocalyptic. If I were that much of a reader, I would have read it a fourth time. The movie for Divergent came out recently, about two weeks ago, which wasn't too bad, considering they could have, maybe, had a time limit allotted for the movie. However, he left out one very important key factor that could spoil future films for the series. One of the main characters had left his factions due to a serious injury, which was not shown in the film. There's no way the character will thrive in the movies like he did in the books after Divergent. Throughout the book, he plays as a faction member and, as implied, does not belong to a faction. This is because either as one of the main characters they were dispatched due to injury or they don't fit a faction. The character plays an important role in the second book, as one of the leaders of the faction, but in the film he was sent to the faction no less. This part, this was the part I was looking forward to the most in the movie, I was on the edge of my seat when the movie part correlated with the book, but it never happened. This issue is... middle of paper ...... the shows or movies themselves leave me on the verge of completely hating the series. I realize that the series shouldn't be exactly like the book, word for word, however, doing it in a way that things can be easily expected, or doing it in a way that the key factors of the book are left out of the series or movie, is something I can't understand. Everywhere I go, everyone I talk to has the same reading interests as me, they all agree that the series or movie made from the stories is not as good as the stories themselves. -themselves. They all agree with me that it's best to read the book alone and not watch the shows or movies in question. It may be hard to believe at first, because I didn't believe it, but after I started reading manga, I started getting addicted to it, I stopped watching anime adaptations in general, and soon the same thing will happen with the books I read.
