“The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of people who are bad; but because of people who do nothing. »-Albert Einstein. Einstein believed wholeheartedly in the value of human life. His life and work showed that he strived to make the world a better place. Albert Einstein was a hero to everyone in the 20th century and beyond. Working to gain better rights for minorities, developing theories that changed the scientific community, and humanitarian work to save lives and homes after the use of the atomic bomb helped solidify his role as a hero. Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm. , Württemberg, Germany (1). He grew up in a Jewish household in Germany with his younger sister (2). Although he was proclaimed a genius, Einstein was a poor student due to the lack of challenging work. At the age of 12, he became fervent in his beliefs, leading him to compose numerous religious songs (4). After he began dabbling in science, he discovered ideas that contradicted his personal beliefs (4). His discoveries led him to become obsessed with the science around him (4). The years passed and Albert renounced his German nationality to become a Swiss citizen, thus allowing him to resume the studies he had abandoned at the age of 16 (7). He became a student at the Swiss Federal Polytechnic School in polytechnic studies (7). Einstein graduated in 1900 and began looking for a job (8). With the help of a friend, he found employment in Berlin as a patent clerk at the Swiss Patent Office, a job for which he is well known (11). The stable income his position provided allowed him to marry his first wife Mileva Maric on January 6, 1903 and paved the way for his two children, Hans...... middle of paper ......e and come but few have made such a difference in our world.
