Essay / Ameron Book 2 The Second Sword of Adam Federspiel Prologue Tyrone's Story
PrologueTyrone was starting to get scared. His team was supposed to meet for Pyroball practice, but no one showed up. At first he thought it was a prank, but he searched everywhere in the vast and labyrinthine Academy, and he found none. He was trying to text them from his party, but no one was responding. He ran into Adrian, Mason and Ne Laa. Despite everything the Academy had been through, they still looked like themselves. Adrian had "Hey, Tyrone!" Mason said. “Hey guys,” Tyrone deadpanned. "Is something wrong?" » asked Ne Laa. “Oh, it’s nothing,” Tyrone said. “It doesn’t seem like that’s the case,” Adrian said. "It's just...my friends are missing and I'm starting to worry..." Tyrone said. “Where did you last go?” » "At my party..." Tyrone said. “Well, maybe they are at your house?” Ne Laa asked. “Hmm…maybe you’re right!” Adrian asked. » Tyrone said. "THANKS!" Tyrone ran to his room, through the stone hallways, to grab some of his things that he wanted to take home. Say no to plagiarism. Tyrone may have been a jock, but he was secretly a huge bookworm. He liked adventure books, funny books, but he especially read books about explorers. His favorite books by far were the books about the legendary explorer Jack Dakana. He read about his adventures, such as the discovery of Ameron's first plant, a giant tree he named Yggdrasil, and his travels to other universes. He entered and found his room in disorder. The floor was covered in dirty clothes, old books, and scuffed Pyroball equipment. “What the fuck?” Tyrone shouted. “I just organized my room!” Suddenly he heard a noise in the bathroom. " Eh ? Who is there? » asked Tyrone. There was dead silence. Tyrone slowly walked towards the bathroom. He opened the door, ready to fight. But no one was there. “Phew! » thought Tyrone. “I must be losing my mind. » A hand shot out from behind him and grabbed his neck. It threw him against the wall with superhuman force. Tyrone looked up and saw who it was. “Surprised to see me?” » asked Moone. "Moon ?!" » Tyrone said incredulously. “I heard you were looking for your friends,” Moone said. “Yeah, so what?” » asked Tyrone. “Would you like to see them?” asked Moone. "Yeah..." "Well, it's... wonderful..." Moone said. Moone laughed as she ran towards Tyrone. Tyrone moved out of the way, causing Moone to crash into the wall. “Get away from me!” Tyrone shouted. Tyrone tried to punch him in the face, but Moone fell backwards and sank into his own shadow. What the hell?! Tyrone thought. Moone suddenly appeared behind him. He reached out and fired a shuriken at Tyrone, using a machine attached to his arm. Tyrone screamed in pain. "You're lucky Magnus wants his test subjects alive, otherwise I would have taken you down with one of my venomous shurikens." » said Moone. Moone grabbed Tyrone and disappeared into the shadows. Out of reach and out of sight."
