The senses are said to be superior to the body; the mind is superior to the senses; the intellect is superior to the spirit; and that which is higher than the intellect is Atman. “A subtle thing is always superior to something gross. The five senses surpass the gross body. The mind dominates the senses and is therefore superior to them. The intellect comes above the mind to the extent that it decides while the latter is content to feel. Atman provides light to the intellect itself and it is therefore above all these instruments that it uses. » Personally, among the three margas (karma-bhakti-jnana) of Hinduism to achieve Kaivalya, I am attracted and influenced by karma marga or also called kriya yoga. Karma means work or action and implies a connection with God by fulfilling one's duty. The Bhagvad Gita is an example of Karma Marga, Mahatma Gandhi can be a great example of this notion. The main idea of Karma yoga is: do your duty and don't worry about the results. The Gita is based on this prima facie school of thought. When Arjuna is skeptical about waging war against his own family, Lord Krishna explains the importance of respecting one's own karma (duty). The person who follows karma marga surrenders to brahmana, in this case his duty, work or something he does. , something he believes in. For example, a soldier fights a battle, a teacher teaches in a poor country, a firefighter fights against all odds. He can believe throughout his life that God does things, that God thinks for him, and that God feels him. When he stops being possessive of his body and his ideas, he will perhaps realize that every... middle of paper...... the questions that Hindus raise?
