    In Chapter 13, we learned about psychological disorders. Psychological disorders are not always visible in everyday life, but they have to deal with them every day. Psychologists have tried many different approaches to treating a number of disorders and have tried to understand their causes. There are many different perspectives on how to approach a problem and analyze it. The psychological approach presents many different perspectives. From the psychodynamic perspective, the main points are that disorders derive from internal struggles producing anxiety that results in behavior. Trait perspectives are a “five-factor model” accessing psychological/personality disorders. The humanistic perspective notes that unrest is often caused by people disappointed in themselves for not having achieved the goals that they/others expected of them. I find that the psychodynamic perspective is the one I would use in the approach because internal struggles are often what causes my mood to change and make me anxious.
