In the non-fiction book Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl written by Anne Frank, she tells us about her stay in a secret annex and her life before and after her hiding. She also explains that without the company of her friends and family, she would not have been able to get up every day. Anne shows us that in times of crisis, it takes love, friendship and tolerance to guide them through the struggles. Anne Frank can be described as lost for many reasons, as she always wants to confide in someone. She believes that in order to survive, she must have a helping hand or someone to lean on.
