XYZ Construction Inc., like many other organizations, has crossed its geographical boundaries and hence the management team plans to expand its horizontal construction nationally and internationally. du Plessis (2009) suggests that the challenges of globalization and internationalization now require organizational leaders to refine or develop new policies and procedures to remain competitive in global markets. As such, the management of XYZ Construction Inc. has also decided to move from a private to a public ownership structure and launch its initial public offering (IPO). Moving forward, there are a number of issues that need to be informed at the management level of XYZ Construction, Inc. Specifically, there are concerns regarding economic and legal factors that could affect the organization. Therefore, the following information will seek to describe and analyze the influences of employment and labor law as the business grows, both domestically and internationally. Initial Public Offerings First of all, it is important to point out that XYZ Construction, Inc. has planned to make an initial public offering (IPO) in the near future, which is an important milestone for the company's shareholders. Additionally, the IPO will generate capital from a broad segment of the public sector and provide an opportunity to disseminate information about the company.
