In the United States, barely fifteen percent of the population trains regularly with weights. This percentage shows how few of us actually participate in weightlifting. Lack of participation could greatly contribute to many health problems in this country, as it constitutes a formidable “prevention system”. Among the health problems it prevents are osteoporosis, diabetes, colon cancer, heart attacks and physical injuries. It is a very beneficial training in which anyone capable of doing it must actively participate. Increasing muscular endurance, preventing many health problems, and reversing the body's natural decline in metabolism are all good reasons for people to start doing this exercise ("Few Americans"). This workout will help in people's daily lives by increasing muscular endurance. High muscular endurance will be less prone to muscle strain and tear due to the strength they have developed, extended workout durations, and better endurance from weight lifting repetitions (“Benefits of Endurance muscle"). Daily life will be made easier because it will be easier to lift heavy objects; Exercise overloads your muscles, challenging them so that they must adapt and therefore become stronger to meet the challenge of lifting heavier objects. "To make a muscle grow, you must force it beyond its capabilities. The most effective way to apply this force is to train to failure.
