Both British artists Tim Noble and Sue Webster are popular and familiar artists. Noble and Webster are recognized for their distinctive art called silhouette art or shadow art. Their punk and stylistic movements are more than artistic. Not only do they create these effective shadows, but they also use lasting art. This means they use a variety of recycled materials, which would otherwise go to waste. These artists use recycled waste like metal, broken tools, discarded wood, as well as gold jewelry and animals. Try donating one of your broken pieces of jewelry to them and watch it be cast into their next spectacular work of art. Everything they find is used to create their piece de resistance or masterpiece. This idea or concept is called sustainable living. Sustainable living has impacted many artists around the world. By creating art, she helps raise awareness, funds and touches many of our fragile hearts. Sustainable art not only helps people around the world, but it also helps economically. For example, we all use paper bags, paper bags are made from wood, and wood makes paper. So, if we recycle paper bags, we will no longer waste paper and we will not cut down trees. A sustainable lifestyle is very important for our system.
