(Bamford and Forrester, 2010) posits in his book that there are four phases in the product life cycle. Every step of an organization is important and I will explain the use of a customer management (CM) service which was introduced in my previous job as a sales representative at a car dealership to allow us to track customers who visited the dealership. It was necessary to introduce a new and improved service to help the sales representative do their job better and track their progress. Basically, this improvement was achieved using the deployment of the quality function in relation to the low CSI score of customers on how the sales team was not following up adequately (Bamford and Forrester, 2010).
