    Company DescriptionChampion Enterprises Inc. is one of the leaders in the manufactured home construction industry. The company specializes in factory-made housing and building materials, including two-story homes, split homes, ranch-style homes, single-style homes, Cape Cod-style homes, townhouses, duplexes and triplexes. The maintenance cost of modular homes is lower than traditional homes, making them a better option. Champion Enterprises is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CHB. The company, founded 56 years ago, declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2010. Before filing for Chapter 11, the company was the industry's largest home producer and operated in various factories in North America and Europe. Champion Enterprise is the parent company of many grants in the manufactured housing industry. I decided to invest in the business, which at the time was stalled, in the hope of getting a return on my investment. I sold my shares on 02/07/2011 at a loss because the company did not seem to have things in order. I initially acquired 9 shares on 08/14/09 and 91 shares on 07/10/09. The average price per share (total cost divided by total number of shares) when I purchased the shares was $0.45 and on the date I sold my shares they were worth $0.02 per share. The company was excellent at providing information to its investors as decisions were made over the years of operation; however, information about the company since the bankruptcy is limited. Future Outlook The future of Champion Enterprise is extremely optimistic; with a few major changes, the company can succeed again.
