  • Essay / Infj: Description of my personality type

When reading the description of my personality type, I felt like it represented me and I found a few things interesting. INFJs are gentle, caring, complex and very intuitive individuals. They are usually right and they usually know it. Their secondary mode is external, in which you deal with things based on how you feel about them. They are deep and complex individuals, quite private and generally difficult to understand. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on “Why Violent Video Games Should Not Be Banned”? Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. Their primary lifestyle is internally focused, where you understand things primarily via intuition. They hold back a part of themselves and can be secretive. On the other hand, they operate within themselves on an intuitive and completely spontaneous basis. Conversely, they have very high expectations of themselves and often of their family. Life is not necessarily easy for them, but they are capable of great depth of feeling and personal accomplishment. They know things intuitively, without being able to determine precisely why and without in-depth knowledge of the subject matter. They have high expectations of their children and push them to do their best. On the other hand, INFJ is a perfectionist who doubts whether they live up to their full potential. They believe they are right. INFJs hold a special place in the hearts of the people they are close to, who are able to see their special gifts and the depth of their caring. In the workplace, INFJs typically appear in areas where they can be creative and somewhat independent. Out of respect for the sentimental aspect of their personality, INFJs are in some ways gentle and easy-going. But in general, the children of an INFJ benefit from devoted and sincere parental guidance, combined with deep caring. The INFJ individual is gifted in ways that other types are not. Because INFJs have very strong intuitive abilities, they trust their own instincts above all. They have a strong value system and must live their lives in accordance with what they believe is right. Therefore, most INFJs protect their inner self, only sharing what they choose to share when they choose to share it. The INFJ will either avoid such things or go to the other extreme and get wrapped up in the details to the extent that they can no longer see the big picture. Keep in mind: this is just a sample. These are just some of the things I found interesting in the description. Works Cited American Psychological Association. (2010).
