    Education of the youth/adolescent population is the second necessary step to make childhood obesity a thing of the past. Health education for our children is not only important in our schools, but also in our community, our city, our neighborhood, etc. Yes, we need a change in our school systems, in the way we educate children about health, but first we need health education to go beyond the school. Experts say that a child/teenager needs sixty minutes of physical activity per day. Each town has an activity center, park, playground, gymnasiums and outdoor courts; so there is no excuse for not having a place to be physically active, but we need educated/trained adults who educate/train children. Sports like Pee-Wee and Little League were our only form of physical activity growing up, not to say that's a bad thing, but we need to use it not just as a time to be active, but also as a time to teach children the importance of being active/healthy. Not only use sports practice time to educate and practice physical activity, but also implement a community fitness and education program for local children. Additionally, the government has created financial assistance not only to schools, but also to communities for fitness and nutrition programs for adolescents (physical activity).
