  • Essay / Teen suicide - 1103

Suicide is the third leading cause of death among 15 to 24 year olds (Green, paragraph 1) Teen suicide is the intentional act committed by adolescents generally under the age of 19 years to take their lives. You don't think about suicide in one day. It is a series of processes that take place in the mind before manifesting. However, during these processes there are visible signs that indicate a potentially suicidal person. There are factors that trigger and provoke the act of suicide in a teenager. Like many parents, Fritz said that "we had no idea that teen suicide was a problem" until his daughter's death (Place, para. 4). Raising awareness about the issue of teen suicide will significantly reduce the number of teen suicides. Even if role conflicts arise, it is their duty as parents to prevent these conflicts, especially if it is to the detriment of their children. Children shouldn't have to compete to ...... middle of paper ...... to save you. So, “save a soul, save your life”. Works Cited “Bully”. Dictionary.com. Np, and Web.
